I contacted Donna in early spring 2007 to help me find a house in the Halifax/South Shore area. I had specific requirements that had to be met and Donna immediately started emailing me information on houses she thought would suit my needs. Unfortunately my move to NS had to be postponed so I ended up buying a house in Calgary instead. However, since I bought this house knowing that it was only a temporary residence, I have been in almost constant contact with Donna. She is still sending me emails of houses she thinks might interest me but she is also giving me advice on what repairs or renovations I can do to my existing home to maximize the resale value when I put it on the market next spring with a Calgary realtor.
Donna’s advice has ranged from ideas on landscaping for curb appeal, redecorating in all of the up-to-date styles and colours, to thoughts on the major renos I want to try to complete and which ones are more important to prospective buyers, and therefore should have higher priority on the reno schedule.
